Role Information
The F&A team comprises multiple functions from Financials Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury and Operations. Together, the team optimizes our global finance initiatives and enjoys being detailed-oriented while multitasking across various exciting project scopesResponsibilities Prepare corporate income tax returns and GST/VAT returnsMaintain tax administration tools such as cash tax trackers and professional fee budget trackers with a high level of accuracyPrepare and input tax and transfer pricing journal entries into the enterprise accounting systemLiaise with local and overseas colleagues and external tax services providers with regard to tax filings, tax projects and handling tax queriesKeep abreast of rules and regulations on tax across different jurisdictions and understand their implications on the groupConduct research into crypto/corporate tax/indirect tax/TP topics independently or/and with third-partyOther ad hoc tasks as requestedRequirements B.S. or B.A. in accounting, finance, economics, business required; advanced degrees, including CPA a plusIdeally 3+ years professional work experience in accounting and tax; Transfer Pricing and crypto tax experience a plusStrong Excel skills with proficient knowledge of pivottables and data manipulation Excel functionsPossess experience or exposure in HK corporate taxes or international taxPossess experience working with stakeholders and colleagues overseasAble to understand tax issues in precise and simple languagesExcellent analytical, project management, presentation and interpersonal skillsExtremely detail oriented with an ability to multitask in a high growth environmentPassionate about start-ups and the growth of digital assets and has a desire to commit a long-term career in the industryExcellent command of spoken and written EnglishGood to have crypto knowledgeAlways have a positive working attitude and willing to take on tasks#LI-CW1
